Hotel Bolgatty Palace is situated on a small island of Bolgatty that is just a few minutes ride from Kochi. Hotel is situated among the lush greenery of the tropical Bolgatty island. This heritage building is one of the oldest establishments of Dutch people outside Holland and was built by a Dutch trader way back in year 1744. This palace was leased to the Britishers in 1909 and it served as their residency till the year 1947 that was when the British Raj came to an end in India. Hotel Bolgatty palace was recently renovated and now provides four star facelities to its patrons.
